Greg Gumbel & Seth Davis weigh in on the new "NCAA March Madness Bracket Preview Show"
For the first time in college basketball history, CBS Sports and the NCAA will feature an in-season unveiling of the seeds of the top NCAA Tournament Teams before the official bracket release in March. The new show, "NCAA March Madness Bracket Preview" will feature the unveiling of the current top-16 teams as of February 11, 2017. NCAA Tournament chairman Mark Hollis will be on the show with our clients, host Greg Gumbel and analyst Seth Davis. The panel will discuss the seeding and selection process along with the teams and the reasoning behind the standings.
We had a chance to catch up with Greg Gumbel and Seth Davis, here's what they had to say:
"This will be a bit unique. We hear, constantly, from basketball followers and analysts on their thoughts about who's in and who's out and where the schools rank. This is different in that we've never stopped and heard these things from the Selection Committee's perspective. Their thoughts and their leanings and their feelings. And it'll be interesting to see what develops in the 3 to 4 weeks until Selection Sunday."
-Greg Gumbel, CBS Sports
"This is going to be a ground breaking show and I am excited to be a part of it. For the first time the NCAA is going to give everyone a real time sneak peek as to where the top teams stand heading down the final stretch of the season. Nothing like a little dose of March Madness to spice up February."
-Seth Davis, CBS Sports & Sports Illustrated
